Overview
Cold chain failures usually surface only after product is already damaged — manual temperature checks a few times a day miss short spikes that are enough to spoil vaccines, medication, or fresh produce. GTA LoRaWAN sensors log temperature and humidity every few minutes and fire an automatic alert the moment a reading crosses a defined threshold.
LoRaWAN fits cold storage, warehouses, and production areas because a single gateway can reach several kilometers, passing through concrete walls and basement levels that are typical WiFi dead zones — and sensor batteries last for years thanks to very low power draw.
Historical data sits in the GTA dashboard for compliance audits, and doubles as the basis for spotting refrigeration failure patterns before a unit fails completely.
